A big thank you to everyone who supported and participated in our 1st Church Basketball Tournament! We had a great time, and we truly appreciate each family for showing up, encouraging one another, and being team players.

“When the day of Pentecost arrived… they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” (Acts 2:1–4)

The people gathered in that upper room were ordinary men and women — fishermen, tax collectors, and followers who felt weak and uncertain. Yet when the Holy Spirit came upon them, everything changed.

Jesus said:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8)

The same Holy Spirit that empowered the early church still empowers believers today. You may feel ordinary, unqualified, or insufficient, but God has never depended on extraordinary people — He works through ordinary people surrendered to His Spirit.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are strengthened to love people, proclaim Jesus, and carry His hope beyond ourselves — to our families, our city, and even to the nations.

Come expectant. Come ready. Come celebrate what God continues to do through His Spirit.
