🌙 Maktab Quran Classes for Boys — Registration Open! 📖

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

By the grace of Allah ﷻ, we are pleased to announce that Children’s Maktab Quran Classes are restarting at Salam Masjid (Central Canada Islamic Foundation), Insha’Allah!

📍 Salam Masjid
294 Burrows Ave, Winnipeg
📅 Starting Saturday, September 5

👦 Classes are currently open for boys only and will be taught by a group of experienced Huffaz teachers. Girls Classes will be starting soon.

You can choose from one of two session options:
🟢 Option 1 — Weekday Session
Monday – Thursday
⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

🔵 Option 2 — Weekend Session
Saturday & Sunday
⏰ 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

3 Levels are available: Noorani Qaida, Nazra and Hifz.

Day 1 of the Ijtema is over! This precious gathering is something we await all year round. Make the best of it and join us. There will be bayaans after every prayer except Isha and aemaal in between. Bring your sleeping bags for Itekaaf and join us.

Assalamualaikum. The Annual Tableeghi Ijtema will be hosted next month at Waverley Masjid.

There will be speeches/programs after each Salaat. This is a completely free event and all Muslims are encouraged to partake. Please make dua for its success and spread the word across Manitoba!

We are very excited that this gathering is taking place after three years of the pandemic, since it has been taking place annually for over 20 years before that. Please make dua for its success and spread the word across Manitoba!

The crescent 🌙 for the month of DHUL HIJJAH was SIGHTED today after the sunset in the agreed upon ‘Matlah’. Dhul Qadha will complete 29 days.

EID UL ADHA - 10 Dhul Hijjah 1447H will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
