St. Vital Parish Council (Beaumont, AB) had the joy of hosting St. Theresa Parish Council from Edmonton. Together, they gathered in the beautiful grotto of St. Vital Church to pray an outdoor Rosary under the open sky. Following prayer, they enjoyed a wonderful evening of fellowship and friendly competition with a fun Bible quiz.

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day forever engraved in our memories.

We remember with profound sorrow the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, the first responders who ran towards danger as others fled and all who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

The Immaculate Conception Parish Council (Delta, BC) celebrated member Iona Ferdinands' milestone centenarion birthday. Council president Ethelyn David presented her with a card from the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem for a Mass that was celebrated in the Holy Land by the Latin Patriarchate for her.

St. Thomas More Parish Council (Calgary, AB) celebrated their 45 years anniversary with a Mass by Spiritual Advisor Fr. Jerald D’Souza. They were joined by two past spiritual advisors, their diocesan president and officers, past presidents and members.

League sisters who stayed an additional day in Halifax enjoyed a tour of Peggy’s Cove. Tour guide Tony shared historical facts and entertaining local folklore along the way. The day included time to explore, shop and enjoy the local fare—a wonderful conclusion to a blessed time in Halifax.
