Today, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day).

Let us pray:

09/30/2026

ELCIC National Office staff recognize September 30 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

This day is an opportunity to remember the children who never returned home from residential schools, honour survivors and acknowledge the ongoing and intergenerational impacts of the residential school system.

In observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the ELCIC National Office will be closed tomorrow, September 30.

We encourage members across the church to take time for reflection, learning and listening as we continue our shared journey toward truth, healing and reconciliation.

Every Child Matters.

Welcome to our Worship Service with Holy Communion. Peace be with you

09/25/2026

In a difficult week marked by violence, threats and acts of hate, we turn to prayer.

We pray for peace, hold one another in care and recommit ourselves to communities where all people are welcomed and safe.

A prayer for anxious times from ELCIC National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer.
