CYMK-UOY is an organization for youth in parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church across Canada.

Founded in 1931, CYMK-UOY exists primarily to provide youth of the parishes with a social base and a sense of community where they can learn and practice their faith, learn and develop as community leaders, and learn and practice the culture of the Ukrainian Orthodox community. ue in that it is self-governed and manages their own funds, albeit with mentorship from parent, parish and priest advisors.

💦🏅 CYMK Olympics - lots of running, water balloons, water guns, and friendly competition… but in the end, friendship won! 💙💛

Thank you to Christina and Vira for refreshing our CYMKivtsi and making this day so much fun! And of course, everyone loved the special CYMK merch - T-shirts with an authentic CYMK design! 👕🇺🇦

💦🏅 Олімпіада СУМК - багато бігу, водяних кульок, водяних пістолетів і дружньої конкуренції… але в результаті перемогла дружба! 💙💛

Дякуємо Христині та Вірі за те, що освіжили наших сумківців і зробили цей день ще веселішим! А на завершення всі отримали чудовий подарунок -CYMK merch, футболки з автентичним дизайном СУМК! 👕🇺🇦

День приїзду 💙💛

Щасливі зустріти сумківців з усіх наших відділів! Після смачної вечері ми познайомилися ближче через веселі ігри, зокрема «Атоми» - переможця можете побачити на четвертому фото! 🏆

Завершили наш день спільним молебнем та мируванням. 🙏🏻

So happy to welcome СУМК members from all of our branches! After a delicious dinner, we got to know each other better through fun games, including “Atoms” - check out the winner in the forth photo! 🏆

We ended the day with a prayer service and anointing. 🙏🏻
A beautiful start to our time together! 🇺🇦

From August 12th to August 16th, 2026, CYMKivtsi from Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, Saskatoon, Toronto, and Winnipeg celebrated the 95th Anniversary of CYMK-UOY!
These wonderful five days together of leadership, workshops, and moments of celebration were absolutely unforgettable - full of prayer, joy and friendship.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our dedicated Cymkivtsi, parents, advisors, volunteers and special guests that came together for these incredible days - you made this a great success!
We are excited for the years ahead, and invite everyone to our next adventures.

«Pysanky for Ukraine Day» is a special day that brings people together to celebrate Ukrainian culture, traditions, and unity 💛💙

These pysanky in the photo were made by CYMKівці in past years, and they represent not only creativity, but also strong support for Ukraine. We are very excited to see what new pysanky will be created this year during our Pysanky Workshops, and to continue this beautiful tradition together ✨🐣
