Summer kicks off this weekend in Believers Kids! ☀️

Over the past year, we’ve been journeying through the Bible together, and this summer we’re slowing down to take a closer look at who Jesus says He is and what it means to follow Him every day.

Our prayer is that kids won’t just learn about Jesus, but they’ll come to know Him personally and understand how He changes our everyday lives.

This summer, we’ll be sharing weekly Table Talk questions and short videos to help keep the conversation going at home all week long.

This is the perfect time to invite another family or friend to join you.

We’re excited to see all God does this summer in Believers Kids! 🌟 And we can’t wait to see you there Sundays at 10am or 12pm 😊

True deliverance starts when we come to the end of our own strength, lay down our pride, and say, “God, I can’t do this on my own.” His strength is not perfected in our ability, it is perfected in our emptiness.

Victory starts with surrender

Voices were lifted in worship as we gathered together for communion, taking time to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Mike Blume preached “Another Tomb, Another Lion’s Den,” The message challenged us to stop fighting battles in our own strength and instead call upon the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.

Many responded at the altar, bringing their burdens to God.

Praise the Lord! This morning during our 10am service as I was leading communion I had a medical emergency. About halfway through communion my face began to droop and my speech became more difficult. As a trained paramedic I immediately recognized that I was in trouble. I finished communion and proceeded off the platform towards my office. On the way by I told Pastor Mike that I needed him to lead the rest of the service. By the time I had reached my office my left arm was tingling. I told my wife that I needed to go to the hospital. Pastor Ose entered my office and he and my wife began to pray fervently. As they led me out to the lobby, several others of our amazing congregation had come to check on me and began to pray. I hugged my kids and proceeded to the hospital. Once at HSC I was triaged and they called a stroke protocol and I was immediately ushered into the resuscitation room. I had been here many times as a paramedic but never as a patient. Once in resus things began to happen very quickly. As they were working on me a nurse asked “are you the pastor from Believers Church”, I said “I sure am”. She said “I grew up with pastor Dylan”. I had a chance to briefly speak with her. Another nurse came to work on me and on his arm I saw Jeremiah 29:11 tattooed. It opened the door for me to speak with him briefly. They did a CT on my head looking for signs of a stroke. Thank God nothing showed up on the CT. The tingling in my arm went away and the facial droop improved. They have not been able to give me a definitive diagnosis. They said it was probably Bell’s Palsy but that wouldn’t account for the numbness in my arm. Also if it were Bell’s Palsy it should continue to get worse and not better. If it was a stroke why isn’t it showing up on the scan. So they are treating me for both. I have just been released from the hospital with post stroke follow-up as well as medication for Bell’s Palsy. Whatever happened, God was with me! I am feeling considerably better. I still have some facial paralysis but I am trusting God for full restoration. Thank you for everyone who prayed and for all those who were so concerned. Thank you Pastor Mike for stepping in the gap. Thank you to my family and church family for your love. God is greater than anything we go through! My life is in His hands. I have taken the week off work to recuperate and regain my strength because come our Awakening Conference on Friday night, I’m going to make the devil regret being so stupid as to touch God’s Anointed. Devil you threw the first punch but I will get the last laugh! Please join me Friday night @ 7pm and help me praise God for all He has done! The trumpet has already been sounded, this means war!
