This is to allow all the people who have been working behind the scenes to take a little time off during August and also to make sure we have adequate seating at distances that will allow for people to feel comfortable and as safe as they can be. We also have some technical hurdles to overcome in this time as we will continue Zoom access to our service for the forceable future so that people who a
re unable to attend in person for whatever reason can still engage with the service. This said, we are still open and if you find yourself in need of a little more personal contact or struggling to make Zoom work on a particular week, you are most welcome and could come to the service any given Sunday provided you contact pastor Dustin (204-470-8026) and make sure that there will be adequate space for you. If you do want to join us for a Sunday morning service, there are a few requirements.
1) DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK FOR ANY REASON. One of the blessings of virtual services is we never have to go out when we or someone in our households are sick. Please stay home if you are sick.
2) Masks will still be required when moving around inside and we will encourage wearing them when all in the building together, removing them from time to time while seated and adequately distances from people outside your home or immediate circles is allowed.
3) Please respect other people’s comfort and distance. It will be a while until everyone is comfortable being in close proximity again. Please do not assume someone wants to hug/handshake/sit close to you or talk in close proximity. It might seem awkward at first, but ask someone what they are comfortable with.
4) Hand sanitizer and sign-in sheet will be available at the entrance to the sanctuary. The building is cleaned Saturday afternoon, and we clean again after the service.
