On Monday, Tuesday, and even Wednesday, we hosted Ukrainian Catholic Bishops from across the United States and Canada during morning Divine Liturgies. They also came to the Shrine of Blessed Vasyl to pray before the holy relics, asking for his intercession for their ministries and for the people they serve.

This morning, our hard-working “Pierogy Bee” crew were blessed with the visit from His Grace Metropolitan Borys Gudziak from the Archeparchy of Philadelphia in the USA. Abp. Gudziak pointed out that building of parish community happens when people meet together for fellowship and activities… oftentimes at the foundational level of the church buildings… thus becoming “the living foundations of the Church.”

Today our parish received a visit from His Excellency Bp Michael Smolinski, C.Ss.R. from the Eparchy of Saskatoon, who presided over 11am Divine Liturgy and then anointed faithful with holy oil and also had the opportunity to meet with new and “old” friends over the coffee in the parish hall. May God continue to bless him and his ministry for many more happy and blessed years! Christ is Risen! ☦️

Do not weep over Me, O Mother, as you see in the grave the Son Whom you have conceived in your womb without seed. I will resurrect and be glorified and I, as God, will forever gloriously raise those who with faith and love magnify you.
