Margaret's Choir will mark its 25th anniversary with a concert at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street (about 2½ km from us), on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. The concert is sure to be an extravaganza.

Margaret's Choir hones its harmonies each week in our sanctuary and several of our members have been involved over the years. We wish the choir all the best on its 25th anniversary and look forward to filling many of the seats at this special concert.

From our families and communities to movements for justice and equality, women continue to inspire, challenge, and transform the world.

We hear a lot of news about the conflict and chaos in our world. What we don’t hear are stories of hope and resistance – of the peace movement that is standing up for change.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 22, 12:00pm - 1:30pm, Unitarian Church sanctuary. The Adult Programs Committee will host a presentation by the chair of the Peace Alliance of Winnipeg, Glenn Michalchuk. Glenn is a seasoned peace activist and will share perspectives on current world conflicts, issues the Peace Alliance of Winnipeg is focused on, the lens they bring to such issues, how we can educate ourselves and get involved with the peace movement. We hope this will spark interest in building a network within the church community for learning and action.
