Today’s Mass was truly a beautiful and grace-filled celebration for our community.

We gathered in faith and unity to recognize and appreciate the dedicated service of our Catechist, Lawrence Nwogu, who has faithfully served the Nigerian Catholic Community in Winnipeg from 2019 – 2026. His commitment to teaching the faith, guiding others in spiritual growth, and strengthening our community has been a true blessing to us all.

As he completes this chapter of his ministry, we congratulate him and pray for him as he prepares for the next step in his ministry journey. May God continue to guide, strengthen, and bless him as he answers the call to serve even more deeply in the Church.

We also extend our heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us at Mass today. Your presence, prayers, and support truly reflect the strength and unity of our community.

This year’s journey will be coordinated by the Young Adults of our community (as agreed by Council), and promises to be a joyful, family-friendly event to start off the summer season.

Grateful Hearts 💖🙏

A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers and members who made our End-of-Year Christmas Mass and Party truly memorable. The spacious hall, delicious food, and the beautiful performance by our special choristers made the celebration joyful and uplifting.

HUGE appreciation to everyone for your generosity, support, and active participation. Special kudos to our CMO, CWO, Young Adults, and the Best Choir in our Archdiocese—your dedication and hard work truly showed. It was a huge success, and we give God all the glory.

Dear Members of the Nigerian Catholic Community,

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for last Sunday’s Mass. Your presence, joyful worship, and active participation brought such warmth and unity to our celebration. It was truly a blessing to see our community gathered together in faith, song, and thanksgiving, reminding us of the strength and beauty of our shared heritage as Nigerian Catholics.

We also joyfully celebrate and congratulate Dr. and Mrs. Obinna Ogidi on the baptism of their newborn son, Nathan. May God continue to pour His abundant blessings upon baby Nathan, granting him health, joy, and a life filled with divine favor. We join the Ogidi family in thanksgiving for this precious gift of new life and pray that God’s love will always surround their home.

May the peace and joy of the Lord remain with each of you as we continue to grow together in faith and fellowship.
