February 23: This Sunday concludes our series on Anabaptism 500 with a look at what it means to live out our faith within a community of believers. Early Anabaptists believed the church to be a covenant community that discerned God’s will and followed Jesus together. Though we often fall short, this sense of community continues to be one of the gifts Anabaptists bring to the wider church.

The adult education hour will be facilitated by Home Street's Indigenous Settler Relations Group, who will introduce us to local organizations Home Street is connected with.

• Worship begins at 10:45 am.
• Christian education hour for all ages begins at 9:45 am.

Join us for our new worship series to mark the 500-year anniversary of Anabaptism. This Sunday, January 12, we explore what discipleship meant in Jesus’s time, how the early Anabaptists understood discipleship, and what it means to be followers of Jesus in our own time and place.

Our adult education hour also follows this theme, alternating between personal stories from those who have come to the Anabaptist / Mennonite church as adults, and presentations on the historic roots of Anabaptism.

Join us for worship as we conclude our series How Does a Weary World Rejoice?

• this Sunday, January 5: We trust our belovedness (Luke 3:1–22)
In the baptism of Jesus, God's delight in God's creation descends onto a broken world. As we navigate a fractured and weary world today, how can we trust our belovedness?

Christian education hour for all ages resumes this Sunday, beginning at 9:45 am.

Worship begins at 10:45 am.

• next Sunday, January 12: we begin a new worship series to mark 500 years since the beginnings of Anabaptism. Over the next seven Sundays, we will recall how the convictions of early Anabaptists were shaped by the sixteenth-century Radical Reformation, and explore what those convictions look like for today's Anabaptist church.
