Get set for Sunday, August 30, 2026, as Family Fun Day returns for the 5th year!

📍 *VENUE: 1314 Henderson Highway (in the lot)*

This free community event welcomes neighbors, friends, and church family for an afternoon of getting acquainted and outdoor fun! Bring your lawn chairs, hats, sunscreen, repellant, and come ready for a good time!

You're welcome to stop by anything from 12 pm to 4 pm or to stay for the full afternoon.

Howdy Friends! Welcome to Cactusville! 🌵

Saddle up for an unforgettable country-themed adventure at Vacation Bible School, August 23-27, @ 6:30-9 pm.

Friends 4-12 years old can register (linked) for this fun, free program created just for them! Come for one night or join us for all five. Friends are welcome.

🌎 Everyone is invited to participate in this year's VBS mission project. During VBS week and on Saturday, August 29, we'll collect non-perishable food items. These will be given to ADRA Community Winnipeg Hub (formerly Adventist Community Services) as they establish emergency food supplies.

We hope to see you for a week full of faith, fun, laughter, and lasting memories as we share God’s love in the heart of Cactusville - where kids are called to follow Jesus.

Church members, Ministry Leaders, and Pastors are invited to the workshop series, "Following Jesus".

Guest presenter will be Dr. Peter Roennfeldt, a Disciple-Making & Church Planting Movement Leader and Author from Australia.

The first five sessions will be held at Henderson Highway Church (1314 Henderson Hwy) from July 13-17 @ 7 pm. We'll explore the techniques Jesus used as He called and trained disciples. Topics include:

> Jesus' Method is Best Practice
> Jesus: Disciple Maker
> Jesus: Equipper (Luke 10)
> Discovery Bible Reading
> Households of Faith

The training concludes on Saturday, July 18, at West Park Church (416 Cathcart St) with a full day of events. Breakfast begins at 8:30 am, followed by the morning presentations at 9:45 am & 11 am. The afternoon resumes at 2 pm & 3:30 pm, after a potluck-style lunch together. Please bring your favorite dish to share.

Friends are welcome as we learn how to make an impact in sharing about Jesus across Winnipeg, southern Manitoba, and throughout the world.
