Every year on Palm Sunday, the Church makes a quiet but significant choice. We begin with palms and hosannas, then, almost immediately, we move to the Passion story. Celebration turns to crucifixion in a single service.

The pastoral reason is understandable: not everyone returns for the rest of Holy Week. But when we compress everything into one moment, we risk missing the why behind the cross.

The days between Palm Sunday and Good Friday matter. They show Jesus confronting systems of power, religious, political, and economic. Without them, the cross can become abstract rather than real.

Holy Week is meant to unfold, not be rushed. The story needs space to breathe.

You are warmly invited to join us for the full journey of Holy Week (see poster for service times). Come and walk the story, from table, to cross, to empty tomb.
