Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, grandmothers, aunties, caregivers, mentors, and every motherly figure across the world.

Today we honour not only those who gave birth, but all who nurture life with compassion, patience, courage, and love. Some mother through raising children, some through friendship, teaching, healing, guiding, protecting, feeding, listening, and simply being present for others in times of joy and sorrow.

May this day remind us of the sacred gift of care — the quiet acts of love that hold families, communities, and even strangers together.

To those celebrating, grieving, remembering, longing, or carrying complicated emotions today — may you be surrounded with gentleness and peace.

This is the day of proclamation—of life rising where death once stood, of light breaking through the shadows. The empty tomb reminds us that death is not the final word. Christ is risen, and with him, hope is made alive again.
