12 talented students proudly represented their Alhijra Islamic School at the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium, showcasing their innovative projects and scientific knowledge. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they earned an impressive total of 12 medals across various categories plus 2 special awards! Each student demonstrated a strong commitment to research, creativity, and problem-solving, standing out among participants from across the province. Their achievements not only highlight individual excellence but also reflect the strength of their school’s science program and mentorship. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to their passion for science and their bright futures ahead.
Malak Zabian, a student in grade 6 received a GOLD medal and also the Most Outstanding Environmental Science Project Award.
Mustafa Rage, Kareem Tasse, and Yunus Ali students in grade 5 received SILVER medals.
Hamza Abas, Umar Yusuf, Maryam Hussen, and Zunaira Ahmadi students in grade 5 received BRONZE medals.
Bassam Eltassi and Yousef Elbejegni students in grade 6 received BRONZE medals.
Musa Khan and Noor Farooq students in grade 8 received BRONZE medals plus Cash and Certificate Awards.
