12 talented students proudly represented their Alhijra Islamic School at the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium, showcasing their innovative projects and scientific knowledge. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they earned an impressive total of 12 medals across various categories plus 2 special awards! Each student demonstrated a strong commitment to research, creativity, and problem-solving, standing out among participants from across the province. Their achievements not only highlight individual excellence but also reflect the strength of their school’s science program and mentorship. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to their passion for science and their bright futures ahead.

Malak Zabian, a student in grade 6 received a GOLD medal and also the Most Outstanding Environmental Science Project Award.

Mustafa Rage, Kareem Tasse, and Yunus Ali students in grade 5 received SILVER medals.

Hamza Abas, Umar Yusuf, Maryam Hussen, and Zunaira Ahmadi students in grade 5 received BRONZE medals.

Bassam Eltassi and Yousef Elbejegni students in grade 6 received BRONZE medals.

Musa Khan and Noor Farooq students in grade 8 received BRONZE medals plus Cash and Certificate Awards.

We at the Al Hijra Islamic school are very saddened by the awful event that has taken place in London, Ontario that has claimed the lives of 4 innocent people.

We absolutely condemn this horrible act of violence, and unnecessary hatred.

We offer our deepest condolences to the families affected by this tragedy.

May Allah shower them with mercy.

مبارك الفوز بالمركز الاول للطالب علي وليد وحصدت رسمته على قيمة ١٠٠٠$ من خلال المزاد العلني على الصورة. وسيقام التبرع بالمبلغ الكامل لاهل فلسطين الحبيبة.
وكان الطالب نجم الدين البكري من بين الفائزين المركزالثاني والطالب صلاح الدين البكري من بين الفائزين بالمركز الثالث.
نحن فخورون كل الفخر بجيل كهذا وباذن الله ستبقى قضية القدس و فلسطين قضيتنا كلنا كأمة.
شكرا للجمعية المغربية اطلس و ملتقى العرب في مانيتوبا على تنظيم هذا المزاد.

Congratulations to our talented student Ali Waleed on winning the first place in the competition. The painting was auctioned for $1000. The full amount will be donated to 🇵🇸 Palestine.
Also we would like to congratulate our students Najmeddin and Salaheddin Albakery on being among the winners in second and third place.
Thank you for all the people that worked so hard on organizing this event.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Alhijra Islamic School is currently accepting Kindergarten new students registration for 2021/2022 school year.
In order to support social distancing in our school, you can register online at www.alhijra.ca
Please see below for important information regarding the registration process.

- Students who turn 5 years-old before January 1, 2022 are eligible to register. This means children must be born in the year of 2016.

-Registration requirements:

1. A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate or
*Landed Immigrant Certificate.
*Student authorization form.

2. A copy of your child’s immunization record.

3. A copy of your child’s health card.
