A refreshing and spirit-filled weekend at the SPYYAM Lenten Retreat 🙏

From moments of deep adoration with our young adults to meaningful sessions and honest discussions with our youth, it was a weekend centered on growing closer to Christ. As we continue our Lenten journey, this retreat has been such a meaningful way to prepare our hearts as we walk with Jesus through His Passion.

So much joy, laughter, and connection—reminding us how powerful it is to share our faith and journey together.

This Lent, take time to pause, pray, and reflect.

As we come closer to our Lord’s Passion, SPYYAM invites you to join our Lenten Retreats, a time to step away from the busyness of life and grow deeper in your faith through prayer, reflection, and fellowship. We will be holding separate retreats for youth and young adults to better serve each age group.

Young Adults (18–40) – March 20 at 6:00 PM
Holy Mass followed by the Stations of the Cross.

Youth (12–18) – March 21 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

All young adults and youth are welcome to come and journey together this Lenten season as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

SPYYAM Valentine’s Day Fundraiser❣️

This Valentine’s Day weekend, SPYYAM (St. Patrick's Youth and Young Adult Ministry) is spreading love—one rose at a time!
We’ll be selling roses for $5 per stem, with all proceeds going toward supporting our Young Adults planning to attend the World Youth Day Pilgrimage in 2027.

Roses will be available after all three Masses:
Saturday, February 14 – 5:00 PM Mass
Sunday, February 15 – 9:00 AM & 11:30 AM Masses

Buy a rose for someone special and support our young adults on their journey to World Youth Day.

What a beautiful day with SPYYAM! 🙌
From singing praise and worship and playing games, to listening to a powerful session and spending time in silent prayer with Scripture, Saturday’s Advent Retreat was a meaningful mix of joy, reflection, and community. It was a chance to slow down, have fun together, and prepare our hearts as we journey through Advent.

Wishing everyone a wonderful adventure as we continue to await the coming of Christmas. ✨🎄

All youth and young adults are invited to our Advent Retreat, “The Lord is Near,” happening from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM! All youth (12–18) and young adults (19–40) are warmly welcome.

Whether you’re hoping to prepare your heart for Christmas, deepen your relationship with God, or simply spend the day with amazing people, this retreat is for you. Expect a mix of prayer, reflection, fellowship, and fun as we journey together toward the Lord’s coming.

✨ A presentation led by Fr. David Bellusci, OP, on the life of St. Pier Giorgio and how this young saint’s joy, service, and faith continue to inspire us today.
📍 St. Timothy Parish (135 John Forsyth Rd, Winnipeg)

Fr. David Bellusci, O.P., has been researching the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati since 2009. Over the course of his work, he developed a close friendship with St. Pier Giorgio's niece, Wanda Gawrońska, whom he met on numerous occasions while preparing his study. His research culminated in the publication of his book: Pier Giorgio Frassati: Truth, Love, and Sacrifice, which explores the depth of Frassati’s spiritual life and enduring legacy.
