Today we were blessed to be a part of the annual Praznyk at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sundown, Manitoba. Father Darren led the faithful in prayer as we celebrated the Divine Liturgy followed by a water blessing. A Panakhyda was sung with blessing of graves. The day ended with a wonderful lunch and fellowship. It was a beautiful day of prayer, fellowship and celebration.

We are grateful to the parishioners of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Stuartburn, Manitoba for having us join them in prayer for their annual praznyk. Father Darren led the faithful in prayer at a Divine Liturgy, and water blessing followed by grave blessings at two cemeteries. Afterwards everyone gathered for lunch and fellowship on the grounds of the cemetery. This is what we are called to do, gathering together in prayer for the Glory of God, even beyond the four walls of our Sts. Peter & Paul church.
