Last Sunday, we talked about what it means to be sheep of the Good Shepherd.

And one question stood out:
Which voice are we listening to?

There are so many voices competing for our attention—
telling us what matters, where to go, who to be.

But Jesus says:
“My sheep hear my voice… and they follow me.”

So we keep coming back to Him—
again and again—
learning to hear, recognize, and follow the voice that leads to life.

| This is what we saw in Baptism.

Not someone earning something.
Not someone proving anything.
Not someone doing something for God.
But God giving a gift.

Freely.
Fully.
Out of love.

That’s what makes it so powerful.

Because this isn’t just true for one moment—
it’s true for all of us.

We don’t earn our place with God.
We don’t work our way into His family.

We receive.
Forgiveness.
Grace.
New life.

Not because we deserve it—
but because we are loved.

See you at church this Sunday!

We gather each Sunday to hear God’s Word,
to be reminded of His promises,
and to receive what He gives.

You are always welcome.

| On Sunday, we talked about Baptism—
and what is actually happening in that moment.

It’s easy to see the water…
the words…
the people gathered.

But if that’s all we see—
we’ve missed it.

Because Baptism is not just something we do.
It is something God does.

A promise spoken over you:
You belong to Him.
Your sin is forgiven.
Your life is made new.

Not because of what you bring—
but because of what He gives.

And that promise isn’t just for one moment…
it’s for you to hold onto every day.

| On Good Friday,
Jesus removed everything that separated you from God.

Your sin.
Your guilt.
Your shame.

“It is finished.”

But Easter doesn’t stop there.

Because the Gospel is not just the cross.
And it’s not just the empty tomb.
The Gospel is this:
Christ is risen—
and He comes to you.
Not as a memory.
Not as an idea.
But as your living Saviour.
Which means you are not alone.
You are forgiven.
You are raised to new life.

And Christ is with you—
today, tomorrow, and always.

Easter is not finished.

We’re so quick to move on—back to routines, back to normal life—but the resurrection of Jesus isn’t something we leave behind after one Sunday.

It changes everything.

Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, we have been given new life—life that doesn’t end on Easter morning, but continues each and every day.

This Sunday, we’ll be reminded of that promise in a powerful way as we celebrate the Holy Baptism of Marley. In the water and the Word, we see clearly: we are saved not by what we do, but by what Christ has done for us.

Easter is not finished.

And neither is the work of our risen Lord.
Come and receive that promise again.

See you at church. ✝️
