In Dakar, Senegal, 90% of the country is Muslim and most have not heard the Truth of Jesus Christ. Our team is building tea garden that will invite relationship building and purposeful conversations of life and faith. Sunday November 7th and 14th is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Christians from all over the world are uniting in prayer to remember and lift up our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their faith. Please join us in prayer

Today, 300 million Christians around the world live in places where they face persecution. Organised by the The World Evangelical Alliance, and held annually on the first to Sundays of November, the is a time set apart to remember the persecuted. Join in prayer on 7th and 14th November 2021.

Avant's short-term ministries are designed to provide exposure to other cultures and needs, allowing you to see where you might fit if God were to lead you to pursue longer term ministry down the road!

Ministry teams of various sizes spend anywhere from one to three weeks making a difference. Summer Experiences internships of 4, 6 and 8 weeks go deeper, and academic credit is often available.
