📢 IRM Ministries Winnipeg Announcement:

Dear IRM Church Family,

Please be advised that our in-person Sunday Worship Service is cancelled this Sunday due to the Long Weekend and most of our members are taking some break to spend time with their families.

We encourage every family to take this opportunity to rest, reconnect, and thank God for the gift of family togetherness.

Have a safe and blessed long weekend! We look forward to worshiping with you online.

At times not big problems rip a marriage apart… starts with small things. Value your family over things, work, other people❣️

Today on World Letter Writing Day, a North Korean believer has a message for
you.

In North Korea, following Jesus can mean being viewed as a traitor to the regime
and an enemy of the state. Christians must often practice their faith in extreme
secrecy, making messages like this incredibly rare.

But one believer has a message—not of fear, but of gratitude and blessing.
“We pray that God will anoint all those believers who have prayed for us and
encouraged us. We pray that the Lord will bless all fellow Christians in the world
this year.”

Think about that: Christians in North Korea are praying for you.
Today, take a moment to remember your brothers and sisters in North Korea. 🙏

The American-based ministry, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), was recently added to Russia's list of "undesirable organizations." This decision creates serious risks for CEF workers in the country, as well as for the churches and organizations currently using the ministry's materials.

One such worker is Park Tae-yeon, who was arrested on January 15th and is now facing charges that could result in a prison sentence of up to 17 years. The retired missionary's trial is scheduled to begin on July 28th.

The decision to designate CEF as an "undesirable organization" was made on July 6th. No explanation was provided for the ministry's inclusion on the list. According to Dr. Hyun Sook Foley of VOMK, possessing or distributing the ministry's materials, providing financial support, or maintaining any other form of association with CEF could result in criminal charges.

While Ms. Park's charges are related to immigration matters, and CEF has not been mentioned in her indictment, those following the case are concerned that it may be used to gather information about individuals, churches and organizations with ties to the ministry.
