TOPIC - The Power of Perception - Seeing Through The Eyes of Faith
Text - 1 Kings 17:1-12
Perception dictates your reality. How you view your circumstances determines how you respond to God. Often, a crisis is not a resource problem, but a perception problem. When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change.
Three Ways We See the World:
• Sensory: Relying strictly on physical sight; living by
"seeing is believing."
• Intellectual: Filtering reality through human logic and past experiences.
• Spiritual: Seeing circumstances through the lens of God's Word and promises.
Biblical Case Studies in Perception
1. Abraham: Discerning the Divine (Genesis 18:1-3, 13)
2. Lot: Unaware of Rescue (Genesis 19:1-3)
3. The Widow of Zarephath: Parasitic vs. Symbiotic (1
Kings 17:1-12)
4. King Jehoash: Limited Vision (2 Kings 13:14-18)
Lesson Application
• Shift Your Paradigm
• Stay Alert to Divine Encounters
• Strike with Passion
Conclusion
Ston viewing God's instructions as a burden. When He asks you to give, serve, or step out in faith, He is not trying to take from you. He is setting you up for multiplication.
Shift your paradigm this week, look past your physical limitations, and ask God to grant you spiritual eyes to see His provision in every situation. RH 207
