Hello everyone, with all the negative comments being made about thrift stores and how they charge SO much for everything and how they send money to other countries instead of helping our community is so sad but unfortunately very true .
That is exactly why we opened The Garage Sale thrift store , so we could make thrifting what it used to be . We run on donations from the community, pick ups for larger donations can be arranged by calling the store during business hours.
At our store we try to keep our prices as low as possible for all our guests . We also take opened and half used hygiene/cleaning products as donations because we take them to the homeless camps throughout our city . Non perishable food items are donated to the local veterans housing . ALL unopened hygiene products are donated to different organizations in our city like food banks and shelters that help those in need . We make very large donations of clothing , shoes , outter wear and bedding atleast twice a month to local shelters and housing progams .We have also sent walkers a wheelchair and clothing to cross lake to try to help them out as well .
So don't give up my fellow thrifters all hope is not lost ...... come down and check us out , The Garage Sale thrift store at
34 Archibald .
