📸✨ Calling All Shutterbugs! Submit Your Photos for 2028 Canadian Church Calendar!

Submissions for the 2028 calendar are now open. If you're considering submitting, here are some ideas.

We’re looking for photos of United Churches:

🙌 Interior shots of people: at worship, church events, the choir singing, architectural details, altar displays, the communion table, a filled baptismal font, etc.

🌿 Exterior shots of churches: not just church buildings but also community gardens, architectural details, greening projects, outdoor services, social justice events, etc.

🌱❄️🍂☀️ Remember to include winter, spring, and fall shots too.

We’d love to see photos of churches from all the provinces and territories across Canada!

📷 We print a photographer credit and offer a $100 honorarium for each photo chosen, and we’ll send you a copy of the calendar once it’s printed.

🗓 Deadline for submissions: January 17, 2027.

For the Love of Creation invites you to gather online tomorrow, September 1, at noon ET as we mark the beginning of the 2026 Season of Creation. This year’s theme, Living Water, and symbol, Immersion in Living Water, invite us to reflect on God’s life-giving waters and our shared responsibility to protect and restore creation. Inspired by Ezekiel 47, the theme highlights water as a source of healing, renewal, and hope for all creation.

Join people of faith from across Canada for a time of prayer, reflection, and commitment to ecological justice.

Seniors for Climate MB

Hi: Hope your summer is going well without too many weird weather events. Seniors for Climate Mb needs your help.

Our City Council behaves as if Climate does not matter to the majority of Winnipeggers. Would you be interested in helping them see they are wrong?

Seniors for Climate MB is forming small groups for each city ward to meet with candidates for the October 28th election. There are always many issues worth discussing, but our focus is clear - reduce the pollution caused by burning fossil fuels and transition to renewable energy.

We are inviting you to join us and become part of a small group that will meet with candidates in October and come together before to prepare for the meetings. Our experienced organizations will help each ward group get going. You do not need to be the spokesperson unless you chose to be. And you get to meet and work with some new friends in your area.
