As we continue our series on the cross and discipleship. One doctrine of the cross that is misconstrued, controversial, and avoided is the cost of bearing your cross and following Him.

It doesn't come that simple, the cross makes demands of us that we must meet before we can be admitted to carry it.

One of the rare messages on the pulpit in recent years is the message of the cross. The message of the cross has become simply ceremonial and limited to the season of Easter.

Losing focus on the cross is a trap that leads to losing Christ. In the midst of a distracted church, it is high time we find our bearing back to the cross individually.

Proof or evidence drives the system of this world. That is why the journey of faith is always unreasonable to a rational mind.

Among the temptations of Jesus, the devil took him to a height to see what he wanted to offer him. To prove to Jesus that all the world is in his care.

On many occasions we also want to see the reality of what God is doing by looking for signs before we believe Him. But there is more to our walk with God and the exercise of faith than looking for signs and wonders.

As seasons unfold from one to the other, you can see the indication of the changes in the way it affects vegetations, most especially trees, whether they are fruit producing trees or otherwise. You can tell from the outside what season they are through.

Some trees or vegetations survive the harshness of the weather all year round. Though the impact of harsh weather is felt by them, when you think this tree is dead, just wait a while, let season change, you will not believe your eyes.

Recently God began to speak in this dimension that same impact manifest in the life of a man but often time, man do not put it to heart; to understand the position they supposed to be at every season and to know that harsh weather doesn’t last forever.
