HSM Temple Founded in 1970, Hindu Society of Manitoba is a non-profit organization engaging Hindu communities Hindusim is one of the oldest religion in this planet.

The HSM is a not-for-profit organization engaged in promoting Hindu religion, culture and hindu way of life. We are proud to be the follower of this religion. Our religion promotes tolerance, harmony, peace and co-existence among mankind. We members of Hindu community are inviting everyone irrespective of their faith, color, caste, creed, gender or religious believe to join us and enjoy the best o

f our religion and culture. Hindu Society of Manitoba welcome every one to attend our prayers, festivals and events. To learn more about what is happening at our temples visit our calendar of events and events & activities page. The Society is moving forward with many long term and short term goals. We are planning to enhance our programs and deliver best services to cater the need of the community and society at large. We are looking forward for your co-operation and support to work together to achieve the common objectives of the Society. In the terms of long term goals, the Society is planning to further improve the facitlites at our places of worship. We are also planning to establish new places of worship at other Manitoba cities such as Brandon, Portage la Prairie, and Morden-Winkler etc. We request the local Hindu community in these cities to come forward and support us with their time, efforts and resources. Hindu Society of Manitoba is indebted to its senior members for their tremendous efforts to establish two wonderful places of worship at Winnipeg. Today we enjoy these facilities due to the their foresight and tireless efforts. Society will soon celebrate its 50th foundation anniversary and on this mile stone we can say to our seniors “thank you for your contribution, thank you for your sincere endeavours”. We promise to continue enhancing your vision and making it big and better every day. We are inviting youth and young community members to come forward and join us. We are looking forward to work with you. Your contribution and services are valuable to the Society. It is your time now to get involved in the affairs of the Society and be prepared to become the future leaders of the community. We promise to welcome you with open arms and guide you through the path of success and achievements of our religious and cultural goals. Our Mission:

The principal objectives of the Hindu Society of Manitoba are:

- To establish one or more Hindu Temples (Mandirs) for the practice of Hindu religion;
- To undertake activities conducive to the Hindu way of life;
- To impart to its members and their families understanding of the Hindu religion and the Hindu culture;
- To establish and operate museums, libraries, schools and institutions for learning, understanding and promotion of Hindu Culture, history and religion, as non-profit services;
- To promote understanding and harmony between Hindu community and other communities;
- To lease, own, establish and operate for its member’s non-profit services such as:
housing for disabled, senior and needy members, and
community centers and healthcare facilities; And
to provide aid for mitigating poverty and disaster relief. All the aforesaid objectives shall be carried out on a charitable, non-profit and philanthropic basis, according to the noblest ideas of Hinduism.

Join Our Volunteer Family at St Annes! 🙏

Our vibrant temple at 999 St. Anne's Road thrives because of the incredible dedication, love, and energy of our volunteers.

Whether you have a few hours a month or want to get involved weekly, there is a rewarding way for everyone to make a meaningful difference!

We are currently opening up new opportunities for community members to lend a hand, share their talents, and support the temple's activities.

We would love your help with:

- Sunday Services & Priti Bhoj: Helping serve food, assisting in the kitchen, and pitching in with post-service cleanup.
- Music & Prayer: Sharing your talent as a bhajan singer, playing musical instruments, or helping prepare for weekly services.
- Youth & Cultural Activities: Supporting children's programs, heritage events, or helping out in our community library.
- Seniors & Women's Events: Helping host our Thursday seniors wellness gatherings or helping organize special cultural observances and celebrations.
- Sports & Temple Upkeep: Assisting with badminton tournaments, managing hall electronics, or helping keep our facility clean, beautiful, and running smoothly.

The snow has melted, weather is warming, and it's time to refresh our beautiful temple! We are hosting our annual Spring Cleaning Drive, and we would love your help to make our space shine.

The Hindu Society of Manitoba is thrilled to share that the Manitoba NDP Government has stepped up in a massive way to support our roof replacement fundraiser. We have been awarded a generous $400,000 grant to ensure that our building remains a safe, dry, and vibrant hub for our community!

GOAL SMASHED! A Thank You From Hindu Society of Manitoba! ❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of our community! Because of you, we didn't just meet our goal for the Hindu Temple & Dr. Raj Pandey Hindu Centre Roof Replacement Fundraiser—we absolutely smashed it.

Our initial campaign goal was $400,000. But together, we have raised $701,620 so far!

We did it, and we couldn't have done it without you. Every donation, large and small, has helped us achieve this monumental total and secure our future!
