Christ the Saviour is an Orthodox Mission Station in Winkler, MB, Canada that is under the wing of St. We are a part of the Canadian Archdiocese of the Orthodox Church of America underneath the episcopal care of Archbishop Irenee of Ottawa and all of Canada. Founded in 2016 by a small group of mennonite converts to the Orthodox Faith the Station serves a monthly liturgy and vespers by Fr. Since it

's founding the community has been steadily growing with new converts, catechumen, and inquirors. The monthly liturgy and weekly Reader's Services are currently being served at our space in Unit 6 390 1st Street in Winkler, MB. ☦️ Understanding Orthodoxy Classes Begin Tomorrow! ☦️

Our Understanding Orthodoxy classes begin tomorrow evening, Thursday, September 10th, at 7:00 PM!

Dcn. Greg Wiebe will be leading these online classes, and we invite all catechumens, inquirers, and anyone interested in learning more about the Orthodox faith to join us.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with others exploring Orthodoxy across Manitoba.

We’re so excited for what this month brings to our Mission Parish of Christ the Saviour! September is a special month for us because, for the first time, we’ll be blessed with three Divine Liturgies in one month! 🙏

☦️ Thank You to Fr. Greg ☦️

This past Saturday, our Mission Parish of Christ the Saviour gathered for our last Divine Liturgy with Fr. Greg before he begins his sabbatical.

For the past 10 years, Fr. Greg has poured so much of his time, love, and energy into our mission. His faithful service, guidance, encouragement, and countless hours spent supporting our parish have helped shape our community into what it is today. We are incredibly grateful for all that he has done for us.
As he begins this time of sabbatical, we pray that it will be a time for him to rest, recharge, spend precious time with family and friends, and prepare himself for the next chapter of his priestly service.

Fr. Greg, thank you for these past 10 years. We are so blessed to have had you walk alongside our mission, and we look forward to welcoming you back. May God grant you many blessed years! ☦️❤️

This past Sunday, our parish gathered together to celebrate the feast of “The Icon Not Made with Hands.” ☦️
We were blessed to have Fr. Serhii with us, serving the Divine Liturgy and helping make this a truly beautiful and joyful celebration.
It was such a blessing to come together as a parish family—to worship, pray, share a meal, and enjoy one another’s company. 🤍
We’re so grateful for the many moments, both in worship and fellowship, that made this feast day so special.
