Honoured to participate in this meaningful Interfaith Prayer Day for Peace.

Grateful for the opportunity to come together with different faith communities in Windsor to pray for peace and promote understanding.

Assumption University and the University of Windsor's Division of Student Affairs partnered to deliver our annual Interfaith Prayer Day for Peace at the CAW Centre. Our event welcomed representatives from nine religious and spiritual traditions to offer a prayer or reflection for peace. We also invited area high school students to learn about the importance of interfaith dialogue and peace. A special thanks to Mr. Michael Brown, Dr. John Cappucci, and Dr. Shetina Jones for their leadership. This event was kindly supported by Assumption University, the Division for Student Affairs, the Stephen Jarislowsky Chair in Religion and Conflict, and the Dr. John Beck Fund in Dialogue.

Yesterday, members gathered at the mosque for insightful presentations on Islam & trade, healthy living, the benefits of charity, and mosque etiquette.

The evening concluded with congregational prayers and dinner, bringing everyone together in faith and brotherhood
