Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is with great joy that we announce that His Eminence, Archbishop of Toronto and Metropolitan of Canada, Mitrophan, will visit our parish community from June 19–21, 2026.

Throughout the weekend, His Eminence will attend the events and celebrations of the Carousel of Nations Festival, sharing in the fellowship and joy of our parishioners and guests.

The highlight of his visit will be on Sunday, June 21, when His Eminence will serve the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at our church, beginning at 9:45 AM.

We warmly invite everyone to join us in welcoming our beloved archpastor with prayer, faith, and love, and to gather together around the Holy Eucharist as one Church family.

We look forward to welcoming you to Gračanica!

Dear parishioners, brothers and sisters,

Memorial Saturday gently reminds us of one of the deepest truths of our faith: that in Christ no one is forgotten, and that love, illumined by the Resurrection, remains alive even after our earthly parting. The Church, as the Body of Christ, carries both the living and the departed in her prayer, for all are called to be gathered in the love of God and in the light of the Heavenly Kingdom.

This is why commemorating the departed is not merely remembering those we have loved, nor simply a pious tradition we have inherited. It is a liturgical act of love, faith, and hope. When we bring the names of our departed loved ones to church, we entrust them to the mercy of God, praying that the Lord may grant them rest in a place of light, a place of refreshment, a place of peace.

At the Divine Liturgy, where earth touches heaven, our prayer becomes the deepest gift we can offer to those we love. The candle we light, the name we speak, the act of mercy we offer, and the prayer we lift up all bear witness that love in Christ does not cease.

May the expression of our love for our loved ones become an unceasing prayer, and may the Lord grant rest to all the departed where there is no pain, sorrow, or sighing, but life everlasting.

Поводом Епархијског дана, који ће бити одржан у недељу, 7. јуна 2026. године, у манастиру у Милтону, наша црква организује превоз аутобусом из Виндзора.

Позивамо све парохијане и пријатеље који желе да тога дана заједно путују у манастир и учествују у овом благословеном сабрању.

For Diocesan Day, which will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Milton Monastery, our church is organizing bus transportation from Windsor.

We warmly invite all parishioners and friends who would like to travel together to the monastery and take part in this blessed gathering.

The cost of transportation is a free-will offering.

Raviojla Ajdinovic and Angie Stevanov-Lamarre attended the Multicultural Council of Windsor-Essex 2026 Gala last night representing our Carrousel - The Gračanica Serbian Village. They were seated with representatives from the German and Greek Villages for dinner and had a some time to spend with our friends from Sv. Dimitrije!

We welcome everyone to attend both Carrousel’s on June 13th at Sv Dimitrije and June 19-20th at Gračanica Serbian Village at the Serbian Centre!

📖 О представи:
Радња драме одвија се 1944. године у немачком радном логору „Јелова шума“. После вести о наводној погибији Адолфа Хитлера, међу заробљеницима настаје радост. Када се испостави да је вест лажна, стиже наређење за ликвидацију свих који су показали радовање.

На ред долази и барака број 99. Њен командир, капетан Спасо Спасовић, изведен је пред суд којим председава пуковник Вермахта Јохан Адлер. Током процеса открива се необичан карактер Спасовића, али и Адлеров посебан план.

Ово снажно драмско дело и данас је актуелно, јер поставља вечно питање човековог опредељења — за Царство Небеско или за царство овоземаљско.
