We can become so focused on experiencing the presence of God that we forget the presence of God is also preparing us to carry something into the world around us. God does not ignite us merely so we can say, “I felt the fire.” He ignites us because there is somewhere the fire needs to go.

We were never designed to withstand the storm alone. God builds us together so that what one part lacks, another supplies; where one grows weary, another strengthens; and when the winds begin to blow, we stand—not merely because we are individually strong, but because we have been fitted together by God.

Eph 4:16 – (AMP) - For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

1 Samuel 17:40 - Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine.

Stay in the river until it makes you smooth. Don't despise the process that is preparing you for your purpose.

God is removing what would hinder your flight. He is smoothing the rough places. He is refining your motives. He is strengthening your character. He is teaching you to remain yielded in His hand.
Because the day is coming when the same hand that has shaped you will pick you up, place you in the sling, and release you toward an assignment bigger than you imagined.

When God releases what He has prepared, Goliath will come down.

The Regions Beyond Are Opening

2 Corinthians 10:13-16 - We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you. 14 For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ; 15 not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men’s labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, 16 to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s sphere of accomplishment.

There is a word in this passage for those who have been faithful in an assigned sphere.

The season ahead will not merely be about occupying the territory you already know. God is preparing His people for regions beyond.
There are assignments coming that cannot be carried by one person.

Territories are opening that require mature people. Doors ahead will require sons and daughters who know how to stand.

God is strengthening the sphere before He expands the sphere.

That is why there has been such an emphasis upon maturity.
Why God has been dealing with character. Why He has been strengthening faith. Why He has been calling people back to prayer. Why He has been exposing instability. Why He has been restoring foundations. Because territorial enlargement requires spiritual capacity.

The greater the assignment, the stronger the people carrying it must become.

The Lord is saying: “Do not measure what I am doing merely by what you can presently see. I am building capacity in the people around you because I am preparing you for territory beyond you.”

The incredible growth we’re experiencing right now is all part of a beautiful preparation journey. The strengthening, the relationships being formed, and the foundations being restored are paving the way for something greater. There are exciting opportunities awaiting us just beyond the horizon!

Do not despise the boundaries of your present assignment. Faithfully steward what God has measured to you today, because within today’s sphere is the seed of tomorrow’s enlargement.

God expands our influence not for personal recognition, but so that more people can experience His Kingdom through our faithful actions. Let’s embrace this opportunity to share His love and make a meaningful impact together!

God is calling His people into a season where they will not merely survive—they will shine. The pressures, trials, and refining you have endured have not been wasted. They have been preparing you for a greater revelation of His glory through your life.

Matthew 5:14 says You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

This is not a time to shrink back in fear or hide your faith. It is a time to burn brighter than ever before. The darker the world becomes, the more clearly the light of Christ is seen.

Now is the time to arise. Now is the time to shine. Now is the time to let the fire of God within you burn with fresh intensity so that others will see His light, encounter His presence, and be drawn to Jesus.

The Lord is saying today: “Do not fear the unknown, because I already stand in your tomorrow. The path is new to you, but not to Me. Keep your eyes upon My presence. Walk in obedience. Consecrate yourself. I will make a way where there seems to be no way. You have not passed this way before, but I have. Follow Me.”

Father, rekindle the fire within me. Remove everything that has cooled my love for You. Restore my passion for Your presence, renew my hunger for Your Word, and awaken my heart to seek You above everything else. Let Your Holy Spirit burn away complacency and fill me afresh with holy love and boldness. May my life become an altar where Your fire continually burns, bringing glory to Your name.
