Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our church’s 2 year anniversary!
The day was truly special. From the smiles and laughter, to the incredible food, to the atmosphere filled with love and community, we could not have asked for better. We are so grateful for each of you. You are the reason this church family is what it is.
With hearts full of gratitude, we look ahead to all that God has planned for us in year three and beyond

Good morning Heavenly Father,

On this beautiful Wednesday morning, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for waking us up and allowing us to see another morning. Thank You that no matter what we faced yesterday or what we carried through the night, Your mercy has brought us into a new day.

Your Word says in Psalm 30:5 (NIV):
“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

Father, thank You for reminding us that our difficult seasons are not forever. We may experience pain, sorrow, disappointment, and tears, but we do not have to remain there. The night may feel long, but morning still comes. And with every new morning, we are reminded that You are still faithful, still present, and still able to turn our mourning into joy.

Today, help us to trust that our tears are not the end of our story. Let Your favor rest upon us and carry us through every season. Where there has been weeping, bring rejoicing. Where there has been heaviness, bring peace. Where there has been discouragement, bring hope.

Lord, we thank You because the morning is here. We rejoice not because everything is perfect, but because You are with us. Let us walk into this day knowing that Your favor is greater than our temporary troubles and that joy is found in Your presence.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May the tears of yesterday not steal the joy of today.
Good morning—your night may have been long, but God has given you a new morning.

Morning Devotion – Tuesday, September 8

Scripture

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”
1 Peter 5:6 NIV

Reflection

Humility is not weakness. Humility is recognizing that God is God, and we are completely dependent on Him. This verse tells us to humble ourselves under God’s mighty hand—to submit to His will, His timing, His process, and His authority.

Sometimes we want God to lift us up immediately. We want the answer now, the breakthrough now, the promotion now, and the victory now. But the Bible says “in due time.” There is a time appointed by God.

Our responsibility is not to force the door open. Our responsibility is to remain humble, faithful, obedient, and surrendered under the mighty hand of God. The same hand that allows the process is the hand that has the power to lift us.

So today, let us not become discouraged while we wait. Let us trust God’s hand. When God’s time comes, no one can stop what He has decided to lift.

Prayer

Good morning, Heavenly Father.

Thank You for waking us up this Tuesday morning. Thank You for the gift of life, for Your mercy, and for allowing us to see another day. Father, we come before You with humble hearts.

Teach us to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand. Help us not to become impatient with Your timing or frustrated with Your process. When we do not understand what You are doing, give us the faith to trust that Your hand is still upon us.

Lord, remove pride, impatience, and the desire to control everything from our hearts. Help us to surrender completely to You. Teach us to wait on You and to trust that You will lift us up in Your due time.

Father, we declare that we will not force what You have not opened. We will not run ahead of You. We will remain under Your mighty hand, knowing that Your hand is powerful enough to sustain us, protect us, guide us, and lift us.

Today, we place our lives, our families, our work, our ministry, our future, and every concern into Your hands. Your timing is perfect, Your hand is mighty, and Your purpose will stand.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May we walk humbly under God’s mighty hand today.
And may we trust that in His perfect time, He will lift us up. Amen. 🙏🏾

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR ROCK CHURCH FAMILY ❤️🙏

I just want to take this moment to thank each and every member of ROC for making yesterday such a beautiful, blessed, and memorable day.

There was so much love, laughter, joy, unity, and togetherness. It was truly beautiful to see men, women, and children working together in the name of God. From every contribution, the cooking, the cleaning, decorating, putting the church together, and everything that was done behind the scenes—thank you!

Yesterday reminded us that this is only possible because of God. Without God, we would not have this kind of love. We would not share the laughter, the joy, the tears, and the beautiful moments that we experienced as we came together and dedicated our children to the Lord.

I bless the name of God for ROC and for every life He has brought into this ministry. I pray that the love and unity we experienced will continue in the name of Jesus. May we continue to stand together, serve together, pray together, laugh together, and love one another as God has commanded us.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, their hands, their gifts, and their hearts. Every contribution mattered. Yesterday was beautiful because everyone came together as one family.

And as God continues to bring new people into ROC, I pray that they will experience the love of God through us. May the love that God has placed in this church touch them, strengthen them, and draw them closer to Him.

Let us continue to stand on God’s side and remain united, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Yesterday was a beautiful, beautiful day, and we believe that God accepted our thanksgiving and everything we offered unto Him. We give Him all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise.

Thank You, Lord, for sustaining ROC for two beautiful years. Thank You for the lives of each and every one of us.

Happy 2nd Godly and Beautiful Anniversary to us, ROC family! 🎉🙏❤️

May the love, unity, joy, and presence of God continue to grow in our church.

We love you all, and above all, we love God! ❤️🙏

MORNING DEVOTION — MONDAY

“The Truth That Sets Us Free”

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
John 8:31–32 NIV

Good morning, Heavenly Father,

This Monday morning, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for yesterday. Thank You for everything that took place and for allowing it to go so beautifully. Thank You for Your presence among us, for sustaining us, and for bringing us to the completion of two years of Your faithfulness.

Lord, yesterday we brought our children before You and dedicated them back to You. They belong to You. You knew them before they were formed, and we place their lives, their future, their steps, and their destiny into Your hands. Be with our children, Lord. May they grow to know You, love You, and walk with You. May they hold on to Your truth and never depart from Your ways.

Your Word tells us that if we hold to the teaching of Jesus, we are truly His disciples. Lord, help us not only to hear Your Word but to hold on to it, live by it, and walk in it. Let Your truth guide our homes, our church, our children, and the generations that are coming after us.

You are great. You are love. You are marvelous. You are mysterious and wonderful in all Your ways. You are the Great I AM. You are the Lord of lords and the King of kings. There is no one like You, and there will never be anyone like You.

Thank You, Lord, for carrying us through these two years. What You have begun, we trust You to continue. We thank You for the past, we trust You for today, and we place the future into Your hands.

May our children walk with You. May they know Your truth. May they become true disciples of Jesus Christ. May the generation we dedicated to You yesterday rise up knowing who You are and living for Your glory.

We love You, Lord. We honor You. We bless Your holy name.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessing

May the Lord who has carried us this far continue to lead us forward.
May His truth remain in us, and may our children and generations after us walk faithfully with Him. Amen.

Good morning, Heavenly Father.

Sunday Morning Devotion & Prayer – A Day of Celebration and Dedication

Scripture:
“My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
— Psalm 121:2 NIV

Today is a special day of celebration, thanksgiving, and dedication. As we gather to celebrate the faithfulness of God and dedicate our children and the next generation to Him, we remember one truth: we are here because the Lord has helped us.

The church has not been sustained by human strength alone. Through every challenge, every need, every season, and every battle, our help has come from the Lord. The same God who has carried us this far is the God we continue to trust with our future.

Today, as we dedicate our children to God, we are declaring that their lives belong to Him. We may not know everything their future will hold, but we know the One who holds their future. We place our children, their purpose, their protection, their minds, and their destiny into the hands of God.

Our prayer today is not only, “Lord, bless our children,” but also, “Lord, help us to trust You with them and teach them to know You.” May the next generation grow knowing that the Lord is their help, their strength, their foundation, and their God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, today we come before You with hearts full of thanksgiving. Thank You for waking us up and allowing us to see this beautiful and special Sunday. Today, we celebrate Your faithfulness. We celebrate Your goodness. We celebrate the fact that You have sustained Your church and carried us through every season.

Lord, we acknowledge that if it had not been for You, we would not be here today. You have been our help. You have been our strength. You have been our provider, our protector, and our God. Through the difficult seasons and the joyful seasons, You have remained faithful.

Today, we lift up our church before You. Thank You for sustaining us and keeping us. We pray that You will continue to build Your church according to Your will and purpose. Let our foundation always be in You. Let us never depend on our own strength, wisdom, or ability, but let our help always come from You, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Father, today we also dedicate our children and the next generation to You. We place them into Your hands. Their lives belong to You. Their future belongs to You. Their purpose belongs to You. Protect them, guide them, and draw them close to You.

Give us, as parents, leaders, and a church family, the wisdom and strength to raise them in the ways of the Lord. May they know You for themselves. May they walk with You, trust You, and stand firm in their faith even in a generation that is moving away from You.

Lord, just as You have sustained us these past two years, we trust You to carry us into the years ahead. Our help comes from You. Our future is in You. Our children are in Your hands. Our church belongs to You.

Today, we celebrate with gratitude, we dedicate with faith, and we move forward trusting that the God who has brought us this far will continue to lead us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today we celebrate God’s faithfulness and declare that He is our help.
May this generation and the generations to come know that the Lord is their God. 🙏🏾

Good morning, Heavenly Father. 🙏🏽

Saturday, September 5, 2026

Today we thank You for waking us up and giving us another day to live, learn, grow, and walk with You.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
— Proverbs 1:7 (NIV)

Father, remind us that true knowledge does not begin with what we know—it begins with how we regard You. When we fear You, we become willing to listen, willing to learn, willing to receive correction, and willing to change.

Your Word tells us that wisdom and instruction are gifts, but a person who refuses correction closes the door to growth. Today, give us humble hearts. Help us not only to hear Your Word but to receive it, obey it, and allow it to correct our ways.

Let the fear of the Lord guide our decisions, our conversations, our relationships, and everything we do today. Keep us from thinking we know everything. Teach us to seek Your wisdom before we move.

🙏🏽 Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of another morning. Give us wisdom that comes from You. Give us hearts that are teachable and humble. When You correct us, help us not to resist You. When You instruct us, help us obey. Let the fear of the Lord be the foundation of everything we do.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God give us wisdom to know His way and humility to follow it.
May His instruction guide our steps and His presence remain with us throughout this day. 🙏🏽

🌅 MORNING DEVOTION — FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

Good morning, Heavenly Father.

Father, we thank You for waking us up this morning and giving us another day of life. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, protection, and unfailing love. Thank You for keeping us through the night and bringing us safely into this new morning. We recognize that every breath we take is a gift from You.

📖 SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

🌿 REFLECTION

The fruit of the Spirit is evidence that the Holy Spirit is working within us. Notice that Scripture says “fruit”—not fruits. These qualities come from one Spirit and are meant to shape every part of our lives.

Today, God is calling us to examine what is growing inside of us. Are we walking in love when people hurt us? Are we choosing joy when circumstances are difficult? Are we allowing God’s peace to rule our hearts instead of fear and anxiety? Are we showing kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control even when nobody is watching?

We cannot produce this fruit by our own strength. Jesus said, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.” — John 15:4.

When we remain in Christ, the Holy Spirit produces His character in us. Today, let us surrender our attitudes, our words, our reactions, and our decisions to God. Let the people we encounter see Christ through the way we love, forgive, speak, serve, and conduct ourselves.

🙏🏽 MORNING PRAYER

Heavenly Father, fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit today. Produce Your fruit in our lives. Teach us to love when it is difficult, to have joy when circumstances are not favorable, and to walk in Your peace when the world around us is troubled.

Give us patience when we are tested, kindness when we are mistreated, goodness when we have an opportunity to help someone, faithfulness when we are tempted to give up, gentleness when we could respond harshly, and self-control when our flesh wants to react.

Lord, let our lives reflect Jesus Christ. Guard our mouths, guide our thoughts, direct our steps, and help us represent You well everywhere we go today. May the fruit of Your Spirit be evident in our homes, our workplaces, our relationships, and our conversations.

We surrender this day to You. Lead us, Holy Spirit, and help us walk according to Your Word.

In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. 🙏🏽

🌻 TWO-LINE BLESSING

May the fruit of the Holy Spirit overflow in your life today, and may everyone you encounter experience the love, peace, and kindness of Christ through you.
May the Lord guide your steps, guard your heart, strengthen your faith, and bless you and your family throughout this day. Amen.

Good morning, Heavenly Father. 🙏🏾

Happy Thursday, September 3rd.

Thank You, Lord, for waking us up this morning and giving us another day to live, another opportunity to seek You, and another chance to trust You. We do not take this day for granted. You have kept us through the night, and we are grateful that Your mercy has brought us into a new morning.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
— Psalm 18:2 NIV

Father, this morning we are reminded that You are our Rock. When everything around us is moving, You remain firm. When we do not know what is coming next, You already know. When we feel surrounded by trouble, You are our fortress. When we cannot see a way out, You are our Deliverer.

Lord, teach us not to run first to people, money, our own understanding, or our own strength. Let us run to You. Your Word says that You are our refuge and our stronghold. You are the One who shields us when we are exposed, strengthens us when we are weak, and delivers us when we cannot deliver ourselves.

Today, we declare that our security is not in what we have—it is in who You are. We may face battles, uncertainty, disappointment, or things we did not expect, but we will not be shaken because our foundation is in You.

Heavenly Father, be our Rock today. Be our Fortress. Be our Shield. Be our Deliverer. Be our Stronghold. Protect our families, guide our decisions, order our steps, and keep our hearts anchored in You. When fear comes, remind us that You are greater. When trouble comes, remind us where our refuge is. When we feel weak, remind us that our strength comes from You.

We surrender this Thursday to You. Go before us, walk with us, and bring us safely through everything this day will bring.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May the Lord be your Rock when you are shaken and your refuge when you are afraid.
May His hand protect you, His strength sustain you, and His presence remain with you today and always. 🙏🏾
