I have another facebook post request. Logan and I are looking to expand our Saturday gaming community. We'll start a new campaign September 12th. Joel and Logan Dauphinee are playing games on Saturday afternoons in the Annex.

Dungeons and Dragons and other Tabletop Games. We are located at Windsor United Church 613 King Street, Windsor, NS.

Sessions are from 1-5 pm every Saturday. Nothing is required but you are encouraged to bring a snack to share and consider contributing to the church. All are welcome, no experience necessary. Invite your friends and family, there will be other tabletop games for partners and smaller children who have not caught the roleplaying bug yet.

“I am looking for some history/information around a donation to the church yardsale. We received some older Boy Scout merit badges and patches. They went to a scout leader who wants to put them in their scouting museum. Please contact Joel Dauphinee if you have some history to share. Thanks in advance.”

We’re excited to announce that our Junior Choir will be returning this year!

Choir practice will take place Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 11:00, beginning September 13, downstairs at Windsor United Church.

If you know a child who loves to sing, please bring them to any Sunday morning practice. Choir is free, and open to all children ages 3 through 18. Come
join the joy of music and friends!

Sunday School Registration

Sunday School begins September 13 and we’re opening our doors wide to new families, new faces, and new little explorers ready to join our community.

This Year’s Theme: Animals of the Bible

Kids will spend the year building their very own Animal Encyclopedias—collecting stories, facts, drawings, and crafts as they learn about each creature and its place in Scripture.

Everyone Is Welcome

Sunday School is a warm, easy place to make friends, feel connected, and be part of a supportive community.
Program Details

Sunday School is a free children’s program offered during the 11 AM service.

Kids stay upstairs for the children’s story (about 15 minutes), then head downstairs with our leaders.

Each week includes circle time, activities, games, and crafts.

Children build confidence, learn kindness, practice teamwork, explore creativity, and develop leadership skills.

We ask that every child be registered, whether they attend regularly or just once in a while.

✨ Church Newsletter Coming This August ✨

We’re hoping to publish a Windsor United Church newsletter, and we would love for it to reflect the voices, ministries, and everyday life of our church family.

If you, your committee, or your group have updates, photos, upcoming events, reflections, or anything you’d like to share, please send them along.

We would also love to highlight the gifts within our congregation — your art, poetry, hobbies, projects, or little glimpses into your everyday life. If you have something you’d be willing to share, we’d be thrilled to include it.

Sunday School Donation Request

As we prepare for this year’s Sunday School, we’re gathering donations of the following items. (You might be able to guess our theme for the year.)

Craft Basics
Glue sticks • Stickers • Play‑Doh • Index cards • 1"–1.5" binders
(We will need one binder per child for a year‑long project.)

Animal‑Themed Items
Anything animal‑related that helps kids play/learn: Small toys • Stuffed animals • Figurines • Flashcards • Puzzles • Puppets
Board books • Picture books • Nature and wildlife fact books • Bible stories featuring animals

Fun Extras
Duplo Lego • Magnetic tiles • Wooden blocks • Anything that can help turn the classroom into a comfy, cozy space for kids (Bean bag chairs, mats/rugs, baskets etc.)

A donation box will be in the Annex.
Thank you for your support as we get ready for a wonderful year.
