Salam alaikoum
May Allah accept your deeds during the month of Dhil Hijjah

Here is a general outline of the a’mal we’ll be doing in the masjid:

1-Dhuhr and Asr prayers in congregation start close to 1:35 PM

2-Recommended 2 rikaats prayer

3-Ziyaarat of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)

4-Reciting the long tasbeeh that has a reward that cannot be described.

(10 mins break)

5-Reciting the masterpiece of Imam Hussain, his supplication on the day of Arafat (peace be upon him) followed by a very short segment of azaa for Muslim bin Aqeel (pbuh)

(20 mins break)

6-Ziyaarat of our master Muslim son of Aqeel (peace be upon him) and the Ziyaara of Hani son of Urwah (may Allah bless his soul)

7-Reciting the 2nd masterpiece, the duaa of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) which contains passages that pertain to all needs, the needs of this world and those of the hereafter

Concluding the A3maal with Fatiha and Salawaat.

May Allah accept your deeds. Keep us in your duas for you and your loved ones are in ours!

Salam Alaikoum, inshallah for the majalis of we will be having Sheikh Ahmad Bazzi to give fruitful lectures and recite the tear-inciting majalis of Imam Hussain.l (a.s). Sheikh Thaer Al-Kufi will be giving the majlis in Arabic, and for Latem the distinguished Mulla Mohammad Al-Basri.
May Allah provide us with the proper intentions, ability, and blessings to be able to uphold the majalis for this great tragedy, as is befitting this great personality.

Perfecting our prayer workshop with Sheikh Hamam Nassereddine @ the IHF

Salam! 
We will be upholding a workshop at Imam Hussain Foundation in Windsor, ON in order to gain more insight regarding the value of prayer, motivate ourselves to pray with more focus and ensure that we are praying in the correct manner. 

Here is the outline for the workshop: 

Start with Dhuhrayn prayers in congregation @ around 140 pm. 
2:10- 3 pm Presentation about the effects of prayer 

Break 

3:15- 4:05 pm Presentation about the meanings of words or actions we perform in prayer. 

30 mins Break for lunch 
4:35-6 pm An interactive session on how to perform wuduu, ghusl and Salat. 
6 pm- Concluding the workshop with Ziyaarat Aali Yaaseen
