Today marks the 100th day of the year and of our journey through the Bible. Together we have covered all the way from Genesis to the beginning of 1 Samuel and have grown much along the way. Keep it up!

Good morning Banwell Church Family,

This week as we moved from the book Leviticus to Numbers in our Walk Through the Word journey, I found myself being struck by the priestly blessing of Aaron over the people of Israel:

"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you
and give you peace." - Numbers 6:24-26

It is a simple blessing that carries tremendous power. As God watches over his people and lovingly invites them to be set apart, there is a holy joy that we can know in relationship with him - a state of blessing in which we know his grace and peace in our lives.

I want to thank you and encourage you for being faithful over the last two months of this journey. And, if you have fallen behind, I want to graciously invite you to open your bible to today's readings and join us where we are.

At this point, I know that some of us may be losing steam, or feeling lost as we cover some very detailed portions of the Pentateuch (the first 5 books of the Bible). With this in mind, I wanted to send you a few free online resources that I have found tremendously helpful in my walk. Take a look...

Dear Banwell Church Family,

With a significant winter storm expected to affect travel tomorrow, we want to keep everyone informed as we look ahead to Sunday.

At this time, we are planning to hold our regular 10:30am worship service. However, your safety is important to us. If road conditions or weather concerns make it unwise for you to travel, please feel free to stay home and join us through our livestream (See links below).

The service will be available on our YouTube channel, and the bulletin will also be posted on our website so you can follow along from home.

Please use wisdom in making your decision, and check the conditions in your area before heading out. Whether you join us in person or online, we look forward to worshiping together.

If so, you are invited to start this New Year in step with the Lord and others as we embark on Walk Through the Word. Each day of 2026 our church will be reading through the entire bible from beginning to end.
