Exciting news! 📢

We're pleased to announce a collaboration with our neighbouring United Churches— Bedford, Glenwood, and Roseland-Trinity—to share worship services on a rotating schedule during June, July, and August of 2026. All are welcome to attend these shared services at three locations in Windsor, Ontario.

Carpooling is available for anyone who needs a ride to a service. Please contact the church office if you're in need of a ride or can offer one (519-966-3010; [email protected]).

Yesterday, the UCW ladies (United Church Women) went to see Joyce, a longtime member of our faith community.

Matthew 18:20: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Romans 12:10: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

May 17, 2026, 10:30am: "The Other Side of the Boat" Called Beyond the Shore into Christ’s Ministry

When the night seemed empty and the nets came back bare, Jesus called the disciples to cast their nets on the other side of the boat — and everything changed. This Pentecost season, join us as we reflect on John 21 and discover how Christ still calls the church into deeper waters of faith, courage, compassion, and ministry. Even when we feel uncertain, tired, or unsure of the future, Jesus invites us to trust again, reach again, and serve again.

As Glenwood United Church celebrates the retirement of Rev. Dr. Catherine Collins-Barker after 17 years of faithful leadership and 35½ years of ministry, this message becomes both a farewell and a commissioning. The work of the church continues — not from comfort or routine, but by listening for Christ’s voice and daring to cast the net to the other side.
