On May 14, in celebration of the Ascension of Our Lord, our congregation joined First, Peace, and Gethsemane Lutheran Churches of Windsor for a Divine Service with Holy Communion at First Lutheran Church.

The host pastor, Rev. Robert Bugbee, served as celebrant, and Rev. Colton LaMay of Gethsemane preached the sermon. Rev. Dionatan Ferreira and Rev. James Leistico of Peace Lutheran served as readers.

Following the service, those gathered enjoyed refreshments in the parish hall, a welcome opportunity to cultivate Christian friendship among congregations that share the same faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ, who reigns at the right hand of the Father and will come again in glory on the Last Day.

How easily could the Highest do without us
and turn his grace from us,
