God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness picks up where God’s Not Dead 2 left off with Rev. Dave Hill (David A.R. White) arrested and jailed for not providing copies of his sermons to local authorities. This is the third in a series of films with the theme that God is not dead. The movie provokes strong thinking on timely issues—do we fight for our Christian faith? Is there a time that backing off and pursuing another plan makes sense? Do we need the help of others to navigate the stormy seas of our lives? What do we do when God seems to be on vacation? Is God good, even when things are bad? This movie takes a serious look at these questions

May 31st Message - sorry for the delay - "We remember Jesus because we see Jesus everyday – not as a picture on the wall but as the vision of our hearts. We remember Jesus because the Holy Spirit reminds us everyday – not in a loud or nagging way but as the still small voice in our hearts calling us to obedience and giving us the love to follow the path Jesus laid out. This is faith – faith works through love. (Galatians 5:6). We live in a world that seems to have forgotten Jesus but we remember Him – every day. He lives in us and we live in Him. He is our victory!"

Be advised - "rebellion against God will occur both inside and outside of the church. The rebellion inside of the church will be disguised as a spiritual awakening. After all, how can the massive amounts of people we find within the church be blinded to truth? And since the “awakening” won’t be an offense to the global kingdom of mankind, it won’t be a threat for it. It can be conveniently tolerated and embraced globally because the offense of the cross and the scandalous nature of following the real Jesus Christ of the Scriptures have been removed."

Have you noticed the stumbling block of the gospel has taken a back seat to other things in many churches? The visible church’s overarching goal has become “to connect.”

Most people, including almost half of those who call themselves 'evangelicals' are lost in a swamp of moral and spiritual decay. How will they ever find their way out - "We too, have such a plumb line today. His name is Jesus; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) . God’s Word if followed leads you to high ground and sets our feet upon the solid rock of Jesus. There is no need to get lost. There is always a way up and out of the swamp by following Jesus and His Word, step by step towards God, to high ground. Jesus said; “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)"

"Known as "The State of Theology" survey, the report found that 73% of Canadian Evangelical respondents agreed with the statement that "Everyone is born innocent in the eyes of God," while 60% agreed that "Everyone sins a little, but most people are good by nature."

“These results display a profound misunderstanding regarding the foundational biblical teaching about original sin and the implications of Adam's sin for all mankind (Rom. 5:18–19; Eph. 2:1–3),” explained Ligonier."

A majority of Evangelicals in Canada hold religious beliefs that contradict key Christian teachings, according to a Lifeway Research report

Almost half of those who call themselves 'evangelicals' don't believe Jesus is God - "Another concerning finding among Canadian evangelicals is that 45% agree that “Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God.” This error strikes at the core of multiple doctrines of the Christian faith, including the doctrine of God, the doctrine of sin, and the doctrine of salvation. It is hard to understand how almost half of those who affirm that “The Bible is the highest authority for what I believe” do not believe that Jesus is God—a doctrine clearly and explicitly taught in Scripture."

What do Canadians in 2026 believe about God, the Bible, and salvation?
