“Good news and great joy to all the world: today is born our Saviour, Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10–11).

Dear Parishioners,

As we celebrate the joy of Christmas and approach the close of 2025, we pause with gratitude to reflect on the year gone by and to look ahead with hope. This year brought moments of joy and times of sorrow, along with many challenges and uncertainties. Yet, through all that we experienced, God remained faithful. Journeying together through the Jubilee Year of Hope, we were reminded that our true and lasting hope is found in Jesus Christ, born for us at Christmas.

The Christ Child comes as a challenge to our hearts. He is born poor, vulnerable, and dependent, calling us to humility, simplicity, and trust in God. He challenges our selfishness, our indifference to the suffering of others, and our tendency to seek comfort without compassion. At Christmas, we bring Christ’s joy to others by welcoming Him anew, by offering kindness instead of judgment, forgiveness instead of resentment, and generosity instead of fear. When we make room for Christ in our hearts, His joy shines through us.

At this joyful time, together with Deacon Berkley, I wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who serve our parish so generously. Thanks to Betty Googoo, Band Council Members, and to all our volunteers. Your dedicated service, selfless commitment, and generous contributions make our parish a living sign of Christ’s love. Above all, thank you to each parishioner for your faith, prayers, and support throughout the year.

I personally invite all of you for the Holy Mass to celebrate the joy of Christmas together as a Parish family at Holy Trinity Saint Kateri Catholic Church on the 24th of December 2025 at 6.30 pm.

May the newborn Christ Child fill your hearts and homes with peace, joy, and hope. May He strengthen us to walk together in faith in the coming year.

Wishing you and your families a blessed and joyful Christmas and a New Year filled with God’s grace.

With prayers and gratitude,

Fr. Joby Augustin CFIC, Pastor
