Today was a blessed day in our parish as many volunteers came together to clean and prepare the church for the Consecration and Installation of our Bishop.

What a blessed and beautiful day we had during our church spring cleaning! 🌸🧹 It was truly wonderful to see our youths and elderly members coming together with joyful hearts, working hand in hand for the house of the Lord. Your dedication, unity, and willingness to serve are a true reflection of God’s love in action.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make the church grounds clean and welcoming. May God richly bless each of you for your labor of love. 🙏❤️

It was a joy on Sunday to share worship with the retired pastor of Whitehorse United Church, Rev. Bev Brazier, together we met at Trinity Lutheran Church as visiting clergy. I had the privilege of celebrating Holy Communion, and Pastor Bev preached a wonderful sermon on John 1:29ff.

She reminded us of Andrew, the disciple who first responded to Jesus and then immediately went and invited others to “come and see.” Andrew may not always be center stage, but he’s the one who brought his brother Simon Peter to Jesus, who noticed the young boy with five loaves and two fish at the feeding of the 5,000, and who helped bring those seeking Jesus into his presence. Andrew shows us that faith often looks like quiet faithfulness, seeing what others miss and trusting God to do something extraordinary with what we offer.

We were encouraged again today that, like Andrew, we are called to go out and be witnesses of Christ, inviting, noticing, sharing, and trusting that God will use even our small acts to bring others closer to Jesus.

What a gift to worship together and be reminded of our shared calling.

❄️😂 What an adventure it was taking down the outdoor nativity crèche, right in the deep snow! There were plenty of laughs, a little slipping and sliding, and lots of good cheer along the way. Huge thanks to our rector for spearheading the team and keeping spirits high. It may have been cold, but it was definitely full of warmth, teamwork, and fun!

It was wonderful to see our rector alongside our parishioners, Gerry and Tyler, representing the Lions Club as they volunteered their time for the Salvation Army kettle fundraiser. Moments like this reflect the heart of our church, serving the wider community with generosity and compassion. We’re grateful for the strong partnership between the Lions Club and our church, and for the way we can work together to make a positive difference in our community.

What a beautiful night! 🎄✨
Last night’s Christmas Carol Program truly set our hearts in the Christmas spirit. Through joyful songs, meaningful moments, and wonderful fellowship, we were reminded of the true reason for this season.

Thank you to everyone who participated, served, and joined us, it was a blessing to celebrate together as one church family. What a night when we come together and get into the Christmas mood!
