Introducing…

ThirdSpace is a newly established social enterprise that is building deeper and broader community connections for people living in South Surrey & White Rock by providing a welcoming place for multiple small gatherings that attract people with various interests. In particular, we target seniors, young parents and youth who need/desire stronger community connections. ThirdSpace will p

rovide both physical space and cooperative leadership to foster social innovation and the incubation of creative ideas that will meet the needs of many in our geographical area. Examples of use of this space will include:
- community cafés such as games nights, fix-it cafés & open mic nights
- regular gatherings to share music, meditation, healing practices and other activities that promote holistic health and wellbeing
- crafting circles of many kinds such as a "Sit and stich" to create products for sale during a "pop-up"
- Evening, weekend and holiday "pop-up" retail space for local artists & entrepreneurs

ThirdSpace was founded in July, 2016 and has operated in a variety of community spaces. It is our goal to establish a regular space that will be known as a community hub. It will typically operate 6 days a week, both during the day and some evenings. Funded by the United Church of Canada and our local United Churches ( Crescent, Sunnyside and First United)
