A small gesture of appreciation for some truly incredible community partners.

Over the past few weeks, we have been visiting the grocery stores and community locations that host our donation bins or generously provide food donations to thank them with certificates of appreciation.

Their support helps us continue serving individuals and families in our community, and we are so grateful for each partnership. Thank you for helping make a difference, one donation at a time.

More to come!

We are so thankful to be able to serve this community — and even more grateful for the incredible volunteers who make that possible every day.

It was an honour to celebrate our volunteers alongside Mayor Elizabeth Roy, Regional Councillor Chris Leahy, and Deidre Newman, President of the Rotary Club of Whitby. Thank you for joining us and recognizing the impact of volunteerism in our community.

A special thank you as well to Frankie at for serving coffee and tea, Julia Rocha Designs for the beautiful awards, Charles Garard for sharing his musical talents with us, and for the delicious treats.

It was a truly special evening, and we hope every volunteer felt seen, valued, and appreciated. We truly could not do this without each and every one of you.

A huge thank you to the 22U T1 Whitby Canadians and everyone involved in this year’s baseball clinic and food drive!

This annual tradition has been bringing together 22U AAA players to 9–11U House League athletes for more than 6 years, creating a special day focused on community, mentorship, and a shared love of baseball.

Thanks to the generosity of players, families, and supporters, the team collected 4 boxes of non-perishable food items along with monetary donations to help support community members facing food insecurity.

We’re so grateful for community partnerships like this that make a real impact while encouraging young athletes to give back. The beautiful weather made for an even more incredible day at the ballpark!

Special thanks to:

Laura D’Souza – Team Manager, 22U T1 Whitby Canadians, Whitby Minor Baseball Association
Brian Ballentine – Head Coach
Peter Ricci – Starting Pitcher
Andrew Lewis – 2nd Baseman

Be sure to support the team this season at Iroquois Sports Field! Home games are Tuesdays at 7:30 PM and Saturdays at 2:00 PM. Schedules can be found through the Whitby Minor Baseball Association. âšľ

Hope doesn’t just feed—it grows.
Introducing the Planting Hope Bundle.

A simple gift that provides seeds, tools, and training for families to grow their own food.

This is more than a donation.
It’s sustainability. It’s dignity. It’s hope that multiplies.

Whitby’s Compost Giveaway Day was a success!

Over 900 cars came through, with 400 lbs of food collected and $787 raised to support local needs.

We’re so thankful for the partnership and support of the Town of Whitby Community Services team—Phil Shankland, Lisamaria Akeson, and everyone involved in making this possible. Your efforts help bring real hope to vulnerable people and families in our community.

Last month alone, over 500 households (more than 1,600 individuals) were supported, and events like this continue to strengthen that impact. ❤️
