Proverbs 3:5 says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." 🕊️

DID you know that the pressure to "have it all figured out" is a weight you were never meant to carry?

Every single day, we wake up and try to play the director of our own lives. We obsess over our next career move, we try to perfectly manage our relationships, and we stress over the next five years. We think that if we just plan perfectly and anticipate every problem, we will finally feel secure.

But here is the real truth: Control isn't the same thing as peace. It is just exhaustion in disguise.

When the Bible tells us to lean not on our own understanding, it is actually an invitation to rest. God is not asking you to understand the whole map. He is not asking you to have all the answers. He is simply asking you to trust Him with the very next step.

This Sunday, put down the heavy burden of having to figure it all out. Come find a community where you can stop trying to control the future and start trusting the One who holds it.

If you are tired of overthinking every step, say it today: “Jesus, I trust You.”

Sunday at New Life Alliance Church 🙏

In Acts 10:1-48, we explored Gentile Pentecost: When God Shattered Human Categories.

Three takeaways from the message:
• God shatters our comfort zones.
• God shatters our social pedestals.
• God shatters our favoritism.

The gospel is not limited by culture, status, or background. God's invitation is for everyone who believes in Him.

This week, ask God to show you someone outside your usual circle who needs to experience His love, and take one step to reach out to them.

Jesus said, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."

DID you know that borrowing the problems of tomorrow just steals your peace today?

We all do it. We lay awake at night running mental marathons about our careers, our families, our finances, and our futures. We spend so much energy trying to control outcomes that have not even happened yet. We think that if we worry enough, we can somehow protect ourselves from the unknown.

But the real and accurate truth is that overthinking is just a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it gets you absolutely nowhere.

Matthew 6:34 is an invitation to put the heavy bags down. Jesus is reminding us that we do not have to figure out the next five years today. God is already standing in the tomorrow you are so stressed about. He has the grace for it. You just need to trust Him with the very next step.

This Sunday, give your mind a rest. Come find a community where you can stop trying to control everything and start experiencing real peace.

If you are exhausted from living in the future, say it today: “Jesus, I give You my tomorrow.”

Sunday at New Life Alliance Church 🙌

This week’s message, “Courageous Changes in You and Me… Church” from Acts 9:19b–31, reminded us that God transforms lives, strengthens His people, and grows His Church even through challenges.

As Saul’s story showed, no one is beyond God’s grace and purpose. When we walk together in faith and the leading of the Holy Spirit, God brings peace, courage, and growth.
