CHRISTMAS COMFORT BAG
SEWING WEEK PREPARATION:

Please join us in our upcoming Sewing Bee, August 10th to August 14th, from 10am to 4pm.

It’s a fun filled sewing week to make prayer lap/shawl quilts and Xmas
Outreach donation gift bags. If you are interested, please bring your sewing
machines/sergers/equipment/material that you have. If sewing is not for you, you can always help cut fabric for bags etc.

“What a Fellowship, What a Joy Divine"

Senior Luncheon:

On August 19th at NOON, the Full of Grace group is hosting the first Senior's
Luncheon that we have had at the church since the pandemic.

We plan on open-faced buns and something sweet. The focus is fellowship, food & fun and hymns
& songs. Everyone 55+ is welcome to attend but we need an RSVP to know how many will be eating our fresh soup & buns.

ADULT MUSIC LESSONS:

Learn to play the ukulele free of charge this summer here at Grace, with Julia and Karen Emmond!
Open to all adults, with a group lesson on Sundays;
10:15AM to 10:45AM on July 12, 19, 26 plus Aug 9 and 16.
On August 23, we are invited to share the hymn we have been practicing with our church family!
Contact Karen Emmond to find your ideal size - you will need to purchase or borrow your own ukulele either in Kelowna or online.
