Newport Pastoral Charge

Newport Pastoral Charge Our people are active in the church with music, drama and a variety of outreach projects. We are a congregation on the move. We are a searching congregation.

We are members of a rural charge of the United Church of Canada dedicated to serving our community through the teachings of Jesus Christ, who calls us to love one another. We do Christ's work in the rolling hills of the Annapolis Valley outside Windsor, NS at Avondale where visitors are invited to ring the bell; and Brooklyn, where the church office is located. Our Sunday services rotate between t

he two churches. We don't pretend to have all the answers to living in Christ's light. Sometimes we don't seem to have any of them. But we invite you, as Jesus did, to come and see how your life could change by living with respect for Creation and in love for all that dwell in the world God made.
