📈 It’s time for another Mission Metric Monday!
With school beginning this week, we wanted to take a moment to highlight another one of our wonderful community partnerships!
For the past 10 months, Open Arms Mission has been proud to partner with DSMAH Children’s Charity to bring food directly to families across Niagara.
Each week throughout the school year, a food giveaway takes place at a different school across Niagara, serving approximately 150–300 families each time. By bringing food directly into schools and the communities where families already are, we’re helping lower barriers like transportation and accessibility that can make getting to a food bank difficult.
And this partnership continues to grow! 💛
At the heart of it all are the kids. Every giveaway is about helping put food in their homes, easing some of the pressure their families are facing, and ensuring children have the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with DSMAH Children’s Charity and the opportunity to continue reaching more schools, more families, and more kids across Niagara!
