A big thank you to the Niagara Community Rowing Club for having our Rose City Kids youth out tonight!

For many of our kids, it was their first time ever rowing, and they had such a great time! We’re so grateful they were given the opportunity to try something new, to get out on the water, and make some memories.

Free Rowing Experience for RCK Youth (grades 7-9)

The Welland Recreational Canal is widely recognized as one of Canada's top rowing courses – and it’s in our own backyard!

The Niagara Community Boathouse Club has invited the Rose City Kids youth to a special evening of rowing.

Thursday, August 27
6:00pm - 8:30pm

Registration is required, and spaces are limited to 40 students.

🤝 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿!

Habitat for Humanity Niagara was proud to partner with Rose City Kids to build six storage sheds for future Habitat homeowners in Welland. Thanks to funding from a City of Welland Community Grant, support from RONA Building Centre, Metabo HPT Canada, Bucks by Tatra and the dedication of volunteers and staff, these sheds will soon be delivered to our townhome development.

This project wasn't just about building sheds, it was about creating opportunities, teaching valuable skills, and showing what can happen when local organizations come together for a common goal.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this project a success!

It's almost here! This Saturday, June 27, RCK is partnering with Habitat for Habitat for Humanity Niagara Region for a build day at RONA (920 Niagara street) and we couldn't do it without some incredible partners.

Big thanks to Bucks by Tatra for stepping up with loaner safety boots, keeping our crew protected and ready to work. They'll also have a tent set up, so come say hi while you're there!

Together, we'll be building 6 garden sheds headed straight to Habitat homes right here in Welland.

Come on out, cheer the boys on, and grab a BBQ lunch or ice cream while you're there, both available for purchase, with proceeds supporting RCK programs.

You're welcome to just stop by and watch, no need to do anything but show up!

Take a peek at what we'll be building this Saturday, June 27 at RONA (920 Niagara st) A big thank you to them for hosting us! We're building 6 garden sheds headed to Habitat homes right here in Welland.

Green and black will be the colour of the day, as Metabo HPT Canada joins us and Habitat for Humanity Niagara Region for the build. They'll be putting real tools in the hands of our volunteers and youth to get the job done, and they'll have a tent set up so you can stop by, check out the gear, and say hi while you're there.

🍓Tomorrow DeVries Fruit Farm is hosting their annual 🍓 Social from 10am - 3pm and this year, it's in support of RCK's "Ready to Go" Backpack Campaign.

Come out for fresh 🍓 and ice cream, take a wagon ride through the orchards, and know that every visit helps get our kids ready for the school year ahead with the backpacks and supplies they need.
