Faith in action 🙏 🌱 Thank you to all in our United in Faith Ministry who have supported the Friends in Creation campaign.

What started as a $1,500 goal turned into something much bigger.

Lutheran churches in St. Jacobs, Elmira and Conestogo came together and raised over $10,000 to restore land around Lake Chad through the Friends of Creation campaign. 🌱

Now, they’re aiming even higher.

This is what faith in action looks like: restoring land, supporting communities and caring for creation — together.

Together in Prayer: A churchwide gathering for Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

In response to the devastating and heartbreaking news from Tumbler Ridge, B.C., you are invited to join ELCIC National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer on Sunday, February 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (CST).

In this time of grief and sorrow, we will come together as a church family for an online service of prayer, lifting up all whose lives have been so deeply affected by the events in Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

She will share stories of how she's seen climate resilience through Nature-Based Solutions in Ethiopia, Chad and Cameroon. The event will also feature a special performance by Inshallah Choir.

On Christmas eve, we light a candle of faith. We see faith every day in the choice that you make to live out your faith through support of CLWR — providing help and hope to people facing crisis around the world. As living costs continue to rise, and as the news in the world can feel dark, it’s not lost on us how significant it is for people like you, and churches like United in Faith, to choose to give back to others.
