Слава Ісусу Христу!
Дорогі брати та сестри,
Наступного тижня ми святкуємо Різдво Господа Нашого Ісуса Христа, подію, яка є виявом безкрайньої любові Нашого Господа до людства. Як каже святий євангелист Іван: «Бог так полюбив світ, що послав Сина Свого Єдинородного, щоб усі, хто вірує в Нього, не загинули, але мали життя вічне» (Ів. 3:16).
Велике Повечір'я напередодні Різдва, 24 грудня буде о 5год. вечора. Після Служби мо всі підемо вниз на спільну Святу Вечерю. А після вечері буде Вертеп -Різдв'яна вистава.
Літургія в день Різдва, 25 грудня, відбудеться о 10 годині ранку. (розклад Ви можете побачити нижче).
В нашій парафії вже склалася традиція разом вечеряти на Свят-Вечір 24 грудня та разом обідати на Різдво 25 грудня. Тому ми просимо Вас принести якісь страви до святкового столу.
Традиційно, на Свят-Вечір готуються 12 пісних страв. Святвечірні стави включають наступні (можуть бути варіації в різних регіонах України).

грибна підлива (мачанка)
борщ з вушками
оселедець та заливна риба
смажена риба
тушкована капуста
пампушки
калач
узвар
кисіль
Можете принести щось, чого немає списку, але що готували на Святвечір у Вас удома.
Обов'язково дайте знати Наталі Касткіній, що приготує Ваша сім'я і в якій кількості. Можна їй писати текстове повідомлення, або телефонувати на номер 647-244-8086.
На саме Різво жодних обмежень немає: можна і м'ясо і молоко і яйця. Можете приносити до святкового столу що забажаєте, але теж дайте Наталі знати.

Christmas dinner
Glory to Jesus Christ!
Dear brothers and sisters,
Next week we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, an event that is a manifestation of Our Lord's boundless love for humanity. As St. John the Evangelist says: “God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
The Great Compline on the Nativity Eve, December 24, will be at 5 pm. After the service, we will all go downstairs for a Holy Supper. And after the supper, there will be a Nativity play.
The Liturgy on Nativity Day, December 25, will be held at 10 a.m. (see below for the schedule).
It is already a tradition in our parish to have dinner together on the Nativity Eve, December 24, and lunch together on Nativity Day, December 25. Therefore, we ask you to bring some dishes to the festive table.
Traditionally, 12 meatless dishes are prepared for Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve dishes include the following (there may be variations in different regions of Ukraine).

meatless perogies
meatless cabbage rolls
mushroom gravy
borsch with mushroom dumplings
herring and jellied fish
fried fish
stewed cabbage
pampushky (donuts)
kalach
dried fruit uzvar
fruit kissel
You can bring something not on the list you cooked back home on Christmas Eve.

There are no food restrictions on the Nativity Day itself: you can have meat, milk, and eggs. You can bring whatever you want to the festive table, but also let Natalia know.
