In our LRC ESL classes, we have the privilege of coming alongside some new Canadians as they settle in Canada. We teach conversational English, but our primary goal is to provide a community where people of all backgrounds can experience the love and welcome of Jesus. Today, our students presented our volunteers with some beautiful words of thanks. Comments like “I made friends here and I don’t know when, but those friends became family” and “This church has become my second home”, tell us that God is doing some amazing things in this ministry. A huge thank you to our church family for your support for the ESL community!
