For the month of June, we are challenging our Lincoln Road Chapel community to ride their bikes to church. Those who don’t have bikes are encouraged to walk, if they live within walking distance. This is a great opportunity to be environmental stewards, while getting in some physical activity!

Tonight marks the end of this term of Lincoln Road Chapel’s HomeBase program. This program will resume in September, but in the meantime, we are very excited to begin planning for LRC’s annual summer day camp: BaseCamp 2026! In our LRC ESL classes, we have the privilege of coming alongside some new Canadians as they settle in Canada. We teach conversational English, but our primary goal is to provide a community where people of all backgrounds can experience the love and welcome of Jesus. Today, our students presented our volunteers with some beautiful words of thanks. Comments like “I made friends here and I don’t know when, but those friends became family” and “This church has become my second home”, tell us that God is doing some amazing things in this ministry. A huge thank you to our church family for your support for the ESL community!

In a world consumed with power and politics, this is the ultimate display of power, which comes from the fullness of the love of God, stronger than the grave and able to provide fullness of life. Last Sunday, we were blessed to witness these parents dedicate their beautiful child to the Lord. They prayed the following over him, from 1Samuel 1:
“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.”
