My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Solomon Tilahun.

I first met Solomon Tilahun in Kenya while pursuing my first degree at Pan African Christian University. At that time, Solomon, along with Mausha Fanta and Akililu Bekele, were teaching at the Pentecostal Theological College (PTC) and had come as part of a teaching exchange program. I had the pleasure of hosting them at my home for coffee, where we shared conversation and fellowship. Solomon's sense of humor stood out; he always added something funny to his conversations, making everyone around him smile. I admired his teaching, especially the way he used language—it was not just ordinary Amharic but captivating and profound.

Solomon will be dearly missed as both a scholar and a God-fearing servant of the Lord. May his legacy continue to inspire, and may his loved ones find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
