We are looking forward to Fall activities, a few dates already known, with others to come. We invite the community to join us.

Sunday, October 4th, Soup Sundays will resume monthly at Church of the Good Shepherd. 12:30 pm. Free will donation.

Also, Sunday, October 4th (details to come) will be a Blessing of the Animals at Holy Trinity Church, 5 Pritchard, Alcove.

"Reading Indigenous Authors" book group resumes in September, meeting every second month until April. The group meets at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Tuesday mornings, beginning September 29th. A second group, meeting at the Wakefield Library, meets Thursdays, from 7-9 pm, beginning September 24th. All are welcome - a good place to explore your own "journey towards reconciliation". Christmas in the Hills Craft Fair will be at the end of November (date & contact information to be confirmed).

Today is the LAST Summer Evensong service of 2026. This week's Evensong service will be led by our own Rev. Caz Ducros and will feature music by Ottawa Choral Workshop Madrigal Singers, directed by Roland Graham.

The annual Summer Evensong series is back at Holy Trinity, Lascelles! Evensong services are being held each Sunday from July 5 through August 23 starting at 7pm at Holy Trinity (5 ch Pritchard, Lascelles). As in the past, the series features a rotating series of guest ministers and musicians and a reception follows each service.

Holy Trinity is accessible without stairs via the side door, which requires crossing a small area of lawn. However, the path to approach the road from the church is steep. Note that there is no running water in the church, but an outhouse is available.
